As the founder of Asiasteps Ltd, my dedication to dance has been a lifelong pursuit. Since the age of 4, I devoted my life and soul to the art of dance. At the age of 12, I made the pivotal decision to relocate to a city far from my hometown, driven by the aspiration to pursue my passion. By the age of 18, I had crystallized vision, aspiring to become a dance teacher and inspire others along their own paths. My name is Hayrigul Saba, a dance instructor boasting a professional career spanning over 25 years. My expertise lies predominantly in Central Asian traditional dances. As a vibrant individual, I proficient in a diverse range of folk dances (Uyghur, Kazak, Uzbek, etc). I find gratification in both on-stage performances and behind-the-scenes contributions, while also endeavoring to inspire individuals to embrace the joy of dancing.
1991-2015
From 1991 to 2015, I worked as a full-time certified dance teacher. Throughout this timeframe, I achieved four distinguished professional qualifications: Instructor in Dance, Instructor in Secondary Professional Teaching, Assistant Lecturer for Technical Secondary Schools in Dance, and Teacher's Qualification for Institutions of Higher Learning in Music Education.
2015-2020
Over the recent years, I have as a Freelance Dance Facilitator. Throughout this period, my primary emphasis has been on attending to familial responsibilities while persisting in the pursuit of my lifelong passion—Dancing.
Since 2020
Recognizing the heightened demand within the Uyghur/Central Asian community in the UK, I resolved to nurture a new generation that finds itself distanced from their hometown, community, and has yet to experience the richness of their traditional dance.
